Definitely an interesting selection of albums, I think I've found the classics I wanted to listen to! :)

Has anyone here ever tried Grooveshark? You can listen to loads of songs online for free, and it's legal. There's ads on the side, I haven't used it enough to know if they put ads between songs, but it's certainly a cool idea.

Yeah I gave it a look a last week. Looks good but I didn't explore too much.

I've used it a fair bit. It's very handy. The ads are only on the side, they are like Gearoid said on the side and that is it.
They speak French there too? God that place is in a mess

Webby just told me about this. Mark Linkous from Sparklehorse killed himself at the weekend. Very sad. We saw them play a good few years ago. Still have the poster. It's weird.

Sparklehorse - Pig
They came at night leaving fear behind, shadows along the ground.
Nobody knew where to find him, no evidence was found.

That is unfortunate news. The name sounds familiar, but I don't recognise the song.

I'm just watching the live DVD of Phil Collins' First Farewell Tour. There's a very strange extra where Phil walks around backstage pretending to be a parking inspector, and talks to all the people working behind the scenes. He calls himself Superintendent Eli Strange, and everyone pretends not to know him!

Just read that Kele from Bloc Party is doing a solo tour of Ireland, anyone heard any of his material?

That'd be good I'd say. Haven't heard any of his solo stuff but he's a very good songwriter so I'd say it's good.

Do you like Massive Attack? Do You like Damon Albarn. Then put your hands together.
Interesting video/documentary.
